Much like Science, Mathematics increasingly draws upon the foundational principles and knowledge established in Grades 7 and 8 to practically apply it to real world scenarios. Drawing upon personal interests, students develop skills that allow them to critically assess information that is presented to them, as well as communicate their understanding through relevant mathematical methods. Students are supported to develop the skills they need to engage with applicable mathematic concepts, empowering them as problem solvers.
